Works of art
New creations are regularly designed and made in the studio. All works can be viewed and purchased in the studio. Do you have an idea for a work yourself? We will then be happy to discuss this together, after which I will develop your ideas into a unique design.
Glass
In the glass workshop you will find an extensive range of OceanSide Glass. OceanSide offers a wide selection of beautiful colors. There is a sample set available with all available colors that can be ordered. The glass for sale in the workshop has a COE96 specification and is perfectly suitable for glass fusing. Visit the studio to view the current range, or send a message if you are looking for a specific color.
Tools
There is a small selection of tools available for sale.
Kiln rental
Glass studio Chris Rave has a modern Rohde kiln of 40cm x 50cm (effective size 39cm x 49cm). Which you can rent per firing. This means that you rent the entire oven for 1 firing, including burning paper or the use of a slump mold. There are a number of slump molds available. The costs for a full fuse stoke of 6mm are €50,- incl. VAT
Waterjet
The studio has a Wazer waterjet. The waterjet is computer controlled and can cut shapes that are impossible by hand. It is also easy to cut a series. The studio also sells pre-cut shapes such as hexacons, hearts and perfect rounds.
